Turning Discipline into a Digital System
01 — Overview
Samurai Progress Tracker was built as a personal productivity concept focused on one idea: progress should be visible, simple, and consistent.
Instead of overloading users with complex dashboards or unnecessary gamification, the app centers around clarity — tracking daily habits, streaks, and progress in a way that feels intentional and distraction-free.
This project became an exercise in combining clean UI design, state management, and user-focused thinking inside Flutter.
One Goal: Consistency Over Complexity
02 — Core Concept
The app is built around the idea of “small daily wins.” Each feature reinforces this principle:
- Habit tracking with simple completion flow
- Daily progress visualization
- Streak-based motivation system
- Lightweight, distraction-free interface
The focus was not on adding more features, but on removing everything unnecessary
03 — UI/UX Design Approach
Minimal, Focused, Intentional
Key decisions included:
- Clean, dark/light minimal theme system
- Large spacing for readability and focus
- Simple progress indicators instead of complex charts
- Tap-first interactions for speed and simplicity
The goal was to make the app feel like a tool for discipline, not entertainment.
04 — Flutter Implementation
Building a Smooth, Lightweight Experience
The app was developed using Flutter to ensure cross-platform consistency and smooth performance.
Key technical areas:
- State management for tracking habits and progress
- Local storage for offline-first functionality
- Modular UI components for scalability
- Clean separation of logic and presentation
This project strengthened understanding of structured Flutter architecture and UI reusability.
